Common Sense, 2019
„When I lost my sight, I got a certain reward – I began to perceive time.“
Common Sense is a performative installation, sound performance – a participatory dramatization of the auditory process that is primarily composed for blind and visually impaired audiences, but is also intended for children and adults and all who desire to “see” differently.
Immerse yourself in a world where time flows differently. Immerse yourself in a world where you don’t have to fill time, but time begins to fill you. Try to listen to the silence for a while. Let yourself drift in the soft darkness. You can change into someone or something else and none of you will ever know. You will change into me and I will imprint myself on you.
Before I lost my sight, I had to fill my time with different things. Not now. I just live. Did it ever occur to you that a snowflake has a memory? For example, I live in a snowflake memory.
